I know that she does not thrill you because while she does indeed love you, she doesn’t… how shall I put this… need you. She does not desire you the way a woman should desire a man. She never will. I know you think that I can not know that but I do! Just like I know that in that noble little soul of yours, you truly do not desire her!
Sure, You have always respected her, you have always valued her as a companion, seen logic in the political advantages of wedding her. For a time she will make you a good wife, But she will never bare you a child. Not a single, solitary babe. The house of Winterhaven will die with you.
(She pauses as she looks at him)
Part of who I am is that I can see the future… at least the future down the road you travel now. (eager) That is why I am her Marcus! To save you! To keep you from that road. It is why you were sent here! This is your fate!
She would be your ruin! (desperate) Marcus… I was sent here to wait for you, to convince you that the road you are on will only lead to your own destruction. With me by your side you could be the greatest king in history! Forget her! I can feel your desire… Marcus, take me with you back to Winterhaven! I will bare you sons! As many as you desire and you will never… speak her name again. (She trails this off as she moves in to kiss him)
